Many of you are familiar with my stance over the hyper-industrialization of Game so I find it difficult to “talk” about my book. I don’t mind when people sell good products, but far too many self-stroking gurus are using Game to exploit people in need of help; and so I refuse to “advertise” my book in the conventional preening manner. It’s here if you want it, veteran readers already know what they are getting. The book’s focus is on GETTING a girl, I plan on writing another one about KEEPING a girl in the future (not any time soon).
The book is split into 7 chapters, the main premises being:

The only thing I WILL say is READ IT FUCKING CAREFULLY. There is no “fluff” in the book, every sentence is there for a reason, every piece of information is valuable. The few pages about body language, for example, compresses the information from 4 different BOOKS. Don’t casually glimpse through it, put the book on a vivisection table and absorb everything you can. It’s meant to OPEN YOUR EYES, in both an inspirational and informative way.

Your site has helped me tremendously, especially your Triumph challenge. I will spare you you the crappy little details of my former life. Though I went from a static social robot to someone awesome who is aiming higher and higher.
– Don’t read any further if you don’t like too, I just wrote down what I felt like writing –
- I go out and approach like every nice girl I see. I have the time of my life when she rejects me, because its just funny how she immediately puts up a social mask to hide any true feelings she can have. I just KNOW I can have like any girl in the world, because I got the confidence to back up my attitude. I just have to sharpen my social skills to realize this (and what better way then to approach every nice girl :).
- Social conditioning is totally fucked up. Yes, it provides safety and no it does not provide happiness. Everytime you follow a rule, you give away a part of your identity. Because you did not come up with this rule. This does not mean you can not have a simple family life, but you only get CONTENTMENT if you watch 7 hours of television a day, every day. Though, you can get HAPPINESS from experiences, change and progress.
- A week ago I totally owned a graduation conversation with two teachers from my uni. These two teachers were sitting there like social drones and I was leading the conversation and coming up with actions. It almost looked like the female teacher was in to me, but that’s still hard to believe.
- I went from someone who is expected to do certain things in life, to someone who WANTS to do certain things in life. It took me a year to make this shift. It contained a lot of Eckhart Tolle like moments. It let me to the bottom of something and I made myself feel safe at this bottom; in case I ever return to that same place again. I have freedom from outcome, I can feel perfectly happy wherever I am. I build my roots very deep.
- I have developed a certain understanding of death. I just seem to understand that I am dying daily and everyday I seize all opportunities I get. Maybe I will burn out in a brilliant blaze shortly but it will be worth it.
- I do not dwell any longer on the past, because how can you kill time without hurting eternity. Though, I still get that feeling of regret sometimes, but I recognize it. I contemplate it shortly, learn my lesson, and move on.
And you know what, fuck all above points. I don’t thinks about it in daily life, they are part of me right now, and I feel kind of stupid writing them down. It cost me effort to get to where I am now, but now I have the tools to tackle life with two legs at once.
I can ramble on, but I can not take the whole day to explain all of my thoughts and actions.
Now I want to erase more of the social conditioning bullshit from my head. I have build my roots, though now it is time to build the tree itself and to make my life extraordinary. I want to aim deeper, farther and higher and take massive action.
And that’s why, Shark, I want to read your book as a broke college kid who is going to start to leave a legacy to this world. I have thought big, I have dreamt big and now it is my time to ACT accordingly.

Hey Shark, just bought the book and am digesting it slowly. Thanks much for all your words of wisdom, they are much appreciated. I’m currently in a 3-year LTR, and things are great. I’ve been unconciously doing a lot of things you teach us to do, but I didn’t know until now exactly WHY they worked. It’s nice to have it all explained so logically.
Now, a couple questions.
1) Any idea when your 2nd book might be out? Seeing as I’m not out actively trying to pick up girls anymore, a book on keeping an existing relationship strong would interest me more than The Black Flag. (Not that I can’t use any of the info in it. I have.)
2) This is more of a comment. You talk a lot about the evils of pedestalizing women, and how Disney movies are much to blame in today’s post-modern culture. Now, I haven’t read everything you’ve ever written, by any means, but what is your opinon on this?
To me, the pedestalization of women began long ago, back when humanity faced more difficult times, such as colonizing new worlds, battling invading armies and plague in the Middle Ages, etc. Back then, women were given more value than men because of their higher biological value. Children were needed to continue the colony, town, kingdom, and the species in general. Without today’s standards of safety, hygiene, and modern medicine, women were held in much higher regard. I believe it is remnants of this that has carried down to today’s post-modern era, and has only been exacerbated by Disney, whose movies are mostly reflections of those bygone eras, with all their princes and princesses.
That’s not an excuse for the pedestalization of women, but it’s a reason that I haven’t heard addressed. I think the male tendency to do that is more evolutionarily ingrained in our psyche than what has been instilled in us by Disney-controlled pop culture.
Anyway, thanks again for the unplugging, and the motivation to be more than what I am.

Shark, your posts have inspired me. I got in way over my head in my first LTR. It was a cougar, with MAJOR baggage thought I was cute. 8 months of rejection from me drove her over the edge – when she finally conquered I turned major beta and am just now snapping out of it almost another full year and 4 breakups and 1000 failed shit-tests later. After sifting through a ton of junk on the internet, it was your blog that gave me the strength to go no contact for 17 days. As this is going on and I re-invent myself, I am letting go of my one-itis. She is not only NOT letting go but is initiating in small doses again. 2 months ago, I was about to jump off a tall building because the one I loved had “changed” blah blah. Cried like a (kitten).It was incomprehensible (to me, and my friends)that a girl who was so madly in love with me for so long,could behave this way. Begged her. Called up her friends and told them how much I loved her. Stood outside her window late one evening, hidden by the dark and rain, waiting for her to come to the window. She wasn’t even home. Bored my friends to death.
A week on, I decided to start living-for a while, before I regressed-the day I decided I couldn’t handle it for the second time in two weeks was the day I came across this blog.
Every single post made a deep impression. Every single post was illuminating. Every single post drew me a step away from what I thought was only inevitable, fate destiny etc.
They say change is a gradual process, that sudden changes are unsustainable, and we almost always revert to our *base* personalities, pun unintended. But something changed that day — or maybe I had it in me all along and now just embraced it. Got back in shape. got back in touch with myself. Started going out with friends. Read like I was possessed. Stopped talking about her. Signed up for the CFA. picked up an old sport I’d stopped playing. Started living. And it worked.
She came back of course, after she’d said with a finality that she would never forgive me for trying to jump off. She had never stopped loving me ever etc. Things I’d (probably literally) have given my right arm for some days back. Yes we’re back and yes, she’s telling the world that. I can mindfuck her so well that she’s getting convulsive orgasms with just my finger and voice. She does shit test me, most of the time so transparently I’d laugh, if I really wanted to be cruel.
But the strange thing is, it doesn’t really matter anymore. I know other girls who really want to go out with me. Hell, my cousin, who happens to be my ex (or current?)’s best friend as well kissed me and told me she wanted to make out. That’s never happening of course, for way too many reasons, but well.
I wont be coming here very often now, there’s a whole world out there to explore and conquer. I do have a question which I will post soon enough.
I don’t know who you are, what you do, how old you are or where you live, and frankly it doesn’t matter.
What matters is what you are doing over here, and how it affects the people who stumble upon it.

Hey Scout/Malt, I’m sure Shark will keep this site running for a long time to come. He seems to have enough money that the cost of running it wouldn’t be a problem, and I know he cares about his, ahem… disciples. If worst comes to worst and the site is taken down, just post on some pick-up forums and see if anyone has downloaded it in the past and would send it to you. I bought it, and would send it to you myself, but not when the option to buy it is still available.

I read the whole Black Flag this summer, underlining n’ shit and I gotta admit… The way you look at things, especially that part about the abyss and letting go… It was moving.
OK, I liked the whole bio-social dynamics and all, but that raw darkness with a touch of compassion you posses in your writing is what got me coming back to this blog.
How do you manage living with such vast knowledge and not becoming insane from meeting all sorts of feeble people? Does the superiority complex kicks in? Sometimes I feel guilty when I think I’m more superior than most of the people. I feel bitter pretense and not so honorable to others.
This striving for Egalitarianism, which I have in me, makes me who I am, but it’s also slowing me down. When I decide to cut that out and become more self-centered I become this non-grateful, frustrated, dominating, power-hungry muthafucka.
It’s like, I keep having these two extremes. Either I’m humble, patient, forgiving, loving, Gandhi type of person, or i’m like a panther quick to dominate anyone who get’s in my way.
“Panther” state of mind: Domination, seeing most of the people as weak and pathetic.
“Gandhi” state of mind: Who am I to judge these people? What if I, god forbid, got a really bad disease and became weak, sick, disabled? Then I would see the world and people in a different way and I wouldn’t wan’t to dominate so much and come to the top.
So I keep switching from a humble, meek, loving person who understands and helps to an egocentric beast who wants to dominate, fuck as many hot women as possible and who wants to become some sort of a general/king with trusted followers.
What would you advice me? I feel confused and I can’t find balance.
Just another 20 days and I can pay for this. Look forward to reading it!

I found your blog by chance and my eyes are wide open. Just bought The Black Flag and I’m ashamed to say that I needed it more than I could have ever imagined.
I know you’re working/will be working on a book on how to keep a girl (no doubt I’ll be picking it up too) and I would like a little advice.
I’m in a relationship now with a girl I really connect with, physically and mentally, and just like every girl I’ve been with, the power dynamic has been changing. Like always, I went into the relationship confident and in control… but as soon as I developed real feelings, the beta-backsliding began. I realize now that I’m constantly being shit tested (and failing). She’s probably looking for a replacement, but I’d be willing to guess she’s sticking around because I secks her like a stallion and I’m damn good looking.
Honestly, I could easily pick up a much hotter girl. I recognize the easy route is just to ditch her and start fresh now that I know what I’ve been doing wrong… BUT, she’s one of very few girls I’ve met that I actually think I could stand to be around for the rest of my life.
